Cheat Lake Farmers Market Shopping List for Monday, June 4

Hello, friends of the Cheat Lake Farmers’ Market!

Tomorrow (Monday, June 4) will be the first Cheat Lake Farmers’ Market of the 2012 season. Like last season, the market will be held from 4-7pm in the parking lot of the Chestnut Ridge Church (2223 Cheat Road, across from Ruby & Ketchy’s Restaurant). I hope you’re all able to make it!

We will have several new vendors this season in addition to most of the vendors from last season. And we’ll be adding vendors as the season progresses. Here’s a list of what each vendor plans to offer for sale tomorrow:


Chipps Family Farm:

Hanging strawberry plants with berries


Mountain Diamond Longhorns:

Frozen steaks, ribs, roasts, and lean ground beef

An assortment of specialty cuts, as well as gourmet, all-beef (no byproducts) jerky and summer sausage

Hopefully chard, baby romaine, tart red lettuce, and maybe some beets
